WITH SADNESS
We learned this month that Lillias (Lil) Kennedy has passed away.
Lil was the "oldest" member of the Twin Cities Scottish Club at the age of 97.
Her obituary may be found in the Pioneer Press (December 31, 2008).
Memorials may be given to the TCSC in Lil's honor or to the recipient of the donor's choice.
ERRATA
From time to time a typo or spelling error will creep into the SNIM.
This may be due to human error: humans are engaged in the drafting,
editing and publication of the SNIM. It may be due to computer software
error; for example, our spellcheck has been known to convert TCSC into TASK.
Things happen. Watching CNN the other day, your editor noted three errors on
the News Crawl within two hours. CNN is a big company with full-time professional
writers, editors and proofreaders and yet errors happen. So we don't have higher
expectations for our little SNIM than Time-Warner-AOL has for CNN. Unless
there is a substantive error such as time, date or location, we will not be sending
out corrections nor apologizing profusely. If you note a typo, congrats, you are
perceptive! Remember, IT happens.
