This wonderful message from Jennifer Peterson.

Calling all Scots in Minnesota and the Borders of Western Wisconsin:

Hello my friends,

I am in need of some help getting the word out (and equally as important, getting responses) to people about the live service being broadcast from Glasgow Cathedral on the 25th.

I'm hoping to run a test along with Gus Noble (St. Andrews Society) in Chicago and at least a few others, one of which is in Russia, on Tuesday morning.

Kieran is very happy to open up the Titanic room for us for this but we need more than about 20 to justify the space....otherwise he'll accommodate us in "The Hollow" at The Local. I have 14 people (including children) who have said they are certainly coming but I know there might be more who will come who just haven't told me yet.

There is some urgency around this as we need to know numbers to know which location we'll be at and I would like to do the test run from that location on Tuesday morning to make sure it all works for me.

I'm co-chairing Burns this year so I have a few balls in the air at the moment (although not nearly as many as Liz can juggle) and just need some help getting people aware of this and finding out if they can definitely come.

The Event is Sunday 25th January at Kierans (if more that 20 or so sign up) and I would say to be there at 9:30 as the service starts at 10am (4pm Glagsow time) They are working to make sure that at a point in the service they greet their audience around the world....I would just love there to be a whole bunch of people there when they say "Hello Minneapolis!!"

This is not a TCSC event...this is a Scottish Community thing....it's free. I'd just ask that people get their morning brunch..hangover drinks...etc. from Kieran's.

Anything you can do to help would be great. Showing strength in all areas of the community will pull us together and it can't have anything but positive affects on Ramble, Tartan Day and the Fair.

Cheers!
