Hey, Babs, I'm not getting the SNIM anymore? What happened?
Babs says: In all probability you didn't click here. If you have been a regular subscriber, you received an email in early February asking you to click here to reconfirm your subscription. If you didn't do that immediately, and it's easy to forget these things, your email address was not transferred to the active list - and consequently, you are not getting the SNIM.
However, there is hope for you. On the right side of the page is a box where you can put in your email addres and click the Subscribe button. New anti-spamming regulations require you to confirm that subscription. This prevents unscrupulous persons from adding you to "lists" you do not wish to be on. Very shortly after clicking Subscribe, you will receive an email generated by the mail service that requires you to click here in order to be placed on the SNIM subscription list. No click here, no SNIM, okay???
There are those unique situations where your ISP may be blocking the SNIM for reasons best known to them. If you have followed all of the instructions for subscribing and you do not receive the SNIM within a day or two of the next publication date, around the first of the month, then the problem may be with your ISP and you will have to quiz them about their policy and plead your case for the SNIM. It can be done. One of our subscribers chagrined that his ISP was blocking the SNIM because it contained an URL for a web site that had received (unwarranted) complaints drew his claymore and fought the good fight and won. Well, he didn't draw his claymore but you get the picture. Good Luck.
